長野の白川氷柱群に🧊

私が担当している日曜Nスタのニュースで「白川の氷柱」の存在を知り、2月上旬が見頃だということで、奈良井宿のあと、こちらにも父兄姉と行ってきました🚗

3枚目は父です👨🏻⛄️

想像をこえるつららの迫力、横にずらっと並ぶ氷のカーテンの美しさにびっくり！見上げるほどの大きさで、自然の偉大さを感じました🧊長野の山奥にこんな神秘的な場所があるとは。

お伝えしている立場でしたが実際に足を運んで自分の目で見て肌で感じて、これは思い切って行ってよかったなぁと興奮冷めやらぬ旅でした。

岩肌からつたった御嶽の水が
厳しい寒さで凍りつく❄️
「白川氷柱群」

巨大な氷柱が連なる様子は
まるで氷のカーテン✨️

幅約250m高さ約50mに達する年もあり
まさに自然が作り出す芸術です😀

2月中旬頃までは
夜間のライトアップもされていますよ💡

Shirakawa Ice Pillars
(Kiso Town)

Water flows from Mt. Ontake and freezes upon the rocky cliffs here, forming a frozen curtain that stretchs 250 meters across and 50 meters high.

This natural work of art exists thanks to the area’s chilly weather, whose lowest temperature reaches -10 to -20ºC. The best time to see the ice pillars is when the cold is at its harshest from January to February.

Until mid-February, the pillars are also illuminated in the evenings.

Access
65 minutes by car from the Ina IC exit
36 minutes by bus from Kiso-Fukushima Station (buses are infrequent)

*Bring warm clothing and slip-resistant footwear when visiting the ice pillars.

「氷柱群」

川の水をくみ上げ人工的に作るものもありますが、こちらは天然のもので、写真撮影に来ている方が多く、いらっしゃいました。
自然の美しさを感じました。
